Our Home Health Team
The Shenandoah Medical Center Home Health Department is comprised of a diverse team of professionals committed to providing you with the highest quality of care and comfort within your home.
- Registered Nurses, specially trained in home healthcare, lead the treatment program. They provide regular nursing visits for care and instruction, make assessments of your health status, and report this information to your primary care physician.
- Your primary care physician provides medical expertise and treatment throughout the process, working with the assigned RN and other medical professionals on your Home Health team.
- Personal Home Health Aides provide assistance to ensure your day-to-day comfort and independence. Their primary responsibilities include: personal care services, such as dressing, and nail care; light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation; respite for family-member caregivers; and client and family care instruction.
