Your good health starts with a good personal conditioning routine. The Personal Training Center at Shenandoah Medical Center combines state-of-the-art equipment, comprehensive fitness programs and a team of professional trainers that work with you to develop and implement healthy lifestyle changes.
Whether your need are geared towards our Adult Fitness offerings or the Sports Acceleration Program, the center has everything necessary to enhance and improve your body’s full potential – eight treadmills, four elliptical machines, two Nu-Step units, a recumbent bicycle, and Airdyne bicycle, and a variety of free weights, exercise balls and strength training machines.
Our certified fitness staff assists you with goal setting, continuous program help, workout supervision, program modification, motivational support, and nutrition guidance. Your personal trainer will customize workout schedules based on your health history, goals and current physical status. You will be advised on proper exercise techniques to ensure good form, strength and conditioning. Trainers perform pre/post/intermittent body fat analysis, as well as regular body and weight measurements to gauge your progress. Routines are updated every six to eight weeks – more often if necessary – to ensure continued development and maximum benefit.
