The Shenandoah Medical Center has added a familiar face to its mental health services team.
SMC officials announced Thursday the addition of Crystal Mick, ARNP, PMHNP as a behavioral health provider. Growing up in northwest Missouri, Mick graduated from high school in Fairfax before receiving her associates degree in nursing from Iowa Western Community College. During her schooling, Mick began working as a nurse and continued for eight years–receiving a master’s degree in nursing education from Clarkson College and a post-graduate certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Hospital officials say the addition of another provider helps SMC continue to “address the shortfall of mental healthcare services within southwest Iowa.”
Officials say Mick will begin seeing patients at the SMC Clinic on Monday and has openings available immediately by calling 712-246-7400.
