Shenandoah Medical Center is once again recognized for its work environment.
SMC has been named to the Des Moines Register’s Iowa Top Workplaces for 2024. It’s the fourth year in row that SMC has made the list, which is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee technology partner Energage LLC. Hospital officials say the anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection, to name a few.
Employers are ranked among groups of similar size to most accurately compare results. Within those size groupings, companies are ranked, and those that score high enough are recognized as top workplaces. Energage also determines special award winners based on standout scores on specific survey topics.
