The Shenandoah Medical Center has made an addition to it’s healthcare team.
SMC officials say Dr. David Lutz will join the family practice team at the hospital, serving healthcare needs of both children and adults in southwest Iowa. Born and raised in California, Lutz received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Utah before attending medical school at the Saba University School of Medicine. He later moved to Buffalo, New York where he completed residency training in family medicine at the University of Buffalo-SUNY. Lutz is also a member of the Ameican Academy of Family Physicians.
Lutz and his wife, Celine, have one daughter, Gwen, who is almost a year old. He stays busy outside of the clinic by hiking, playing board games, listening to music, and spending time with his daughter.
Lutz plans to begin seeing patients within the next two weeks. To schedule an appointment, call 712-246-7400.
