Vascular

Vascular

A vascular surgeon is a highly trained specialist who diagnoses, manages, and treats conditions affecting the blood vessels (arteries and veins) throughout the body, excluding those of the heart and brain. They provide comprehensive care for a wide range of vascular diseases, including peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, varicose veins, and carotid artery disease. Vascular surgeons are skilled in both open surgical procedures and minimally invasive endovascular techniques, allowing them to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs. Their goal is to restore healthy circulation, reduce symptoms, and prevent serious complications such as stroke or limb loss.
